The Arlington County Fair is back at TJ (3501 2nd St S) and it is turning 50. Rides and food cost money. Getting in does not.
Hours: Thu 5–10:30pm · Fri 2–10:30pm · Sat 10am–10:30pm · Sun 11am–10pm
I think it’s worth going to the county fair exactly once if you’ve never been. Though, these special events have my interest:

Latin jazz and soul, two minutes from Crystal City Metro. Yes, Water Park is a bit of a Crystal City rebrand. There’s no wave pool… But we love it! Grab food from the kiosks (Pizzeria Paradiso Pronto, Fat Fish, Queen Mother’s) and stay through 8 if you are heading to the movie after. FREE
🎬 Cinema on the Plaza: My Cousin Vinny - Mason Square (Ballston) @8-10pm
Last outdoor movie of GMU’s summer series. Courtroom comedy on the plaza, free popcorn while it lasts, bring a chair. Rated R. FREE

The hand-ripped noodle legend (yes, the Anthony Bourdain one) holds its grand opening Saturday at 2800 Clarendon Blvd. First location in the DC area. Show up hungry. Info
🤠 BOE Fest Encore - BOE, Clarendon @3-11:30pm
All-day Nashville takeover at 2854 Wilson Blvd. Rooftop music 3–6pm, Dylan Mines and Tennessee Frisky live, DJs after that, mechanical bull all day, food and beer the whole time. 21+. Ticketed. Tickets
