🌭 Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash – The Wharf @2–7 PM (Friday, Oct 4)
The pups are taking over The Wharf for the 12th Annual Wiener 500, where Dachshunds sprint for glory to benefit Rural Dog Rescue. Humans can join the fun too with polka dancing on the pier (5–7 PM) and a stein-hoisting championship. 🍻 Arlington VA Oktoberfest 2025 – Arlington (Saturday, Sept 27 • 4–11 PM)
Time to mark your calendar—Arlington’s own Oktoberfest lands Saturday, Sept 27, from 4 to 11 PM. Expect beer, food, live music, and all the stein-raising fun of a classic Bavarian bash (tickets start around $7). Great excuse to break out your dirndl or lederhosen.

🎨 Arlington Art Truck – Clarendon Day @ 11 AM–6 PM (Saturday, Sept 27)
Catch the Art Truck at Clarendon Day (3100 Clarendon Blvd.) from 11 AM to 6 PM. This year’s project—“Patch or Swap: A Textile Rescue Lab”—lets you mend clothes or swap them, learn from artist Roxana Alger Geffen, and pick up a map of Arlington’s artist studio tour. Admission is free.

🎉 Clarendon Day Street Festival – Clarendon Blvd (Saturday, Sept 27 • 11 AM–6 PM)
Clarendon Blvd transforms into a full-day festival with live music, food trucks, local vendors, kids’ activities, art installations, and pop-up shops. It’s one of Arlington’s biggest block-party moments—bring friends, roam the block, and soak up the local energy. Free admission.

Sunday

🌴 Live Reggae – Island Time Bar & Grill (Columbia Island Marina) @5–7 PM (Sunday, Sept 28)

Short for “bodacious experience,” BOE Bar brings Nashville vibes to Clarendon with a mechanical bull, Southern-style plates like the BOE Biscuit (fried chicken + hot honey butter), and cocktails like the Bucking Bronco whiskey sour. 🥐 Fresh Baguette – McLean (Opened Sept 21)
This woman-owned bakery just opened its second DMV spot (the first’s at Pike & Rose), serving all-day breakfast and lunch on house-baked breads. Think breakfast sandwiches, BLTs, seasonal pastries, and special-occasion cakes. On weekends, they’re pouring coffee, tea, plus cocktails + mocktails from 9 AM–5:30 PM. Info HERE
