Arlington Drafthouse is hosting The Second City’s holiday comedy revue, basically a fast, interactive roast of holiday parties, family chaos, and Mariah season. Saturday has shows at 7 PM and 9:30 PM, and Sunday has shows at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Note the age policy: the 9:30 PM shows are 21 plus only, no exceptions. info HERE

Big Buns is leaning all the way into dessert season with the return of its “Slayin’ Sweets” menu. The lineup includes Santa’s Sundae with granola and holiday M&Ms, a minty Grinch Shake loaded with Oreo crumbles, and the over-the-top North Pole Quake stacked with vanilla ice cream, double chocolate brownie and all the toppings. A new Syrian spot has landed in Arlington. Alshami Restaurant is serving up classic Middle Eastern dishes like shawarma, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush and fresh-baked breads, all rooted in traditional Syrian flavors. It is casual, comforting and very much a neighborhood kind of place, perfect for an easy dinner or a takeout night when you want something warm and filling. Info HERE
🥐 Sunday Morning Bakehouse in McLean (Now Open)
Arlington’s baked goods crowd has a new nearby stop. Sunday Morning Bakehouse just opened its McLean location at 1796 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, serving handmade croissants, seasonal breads and pastries, plus coffee. It is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, with a parking garage and one hour validation available. Info HERE
